Vibrant Hues
at World Architecture Festival

Colour will once again play a prominent role in this year’s World Architecture Festival (WAF) following the announcement that AkzoNobel – a leading global paint and coatings company and major producer of specialty chemicals – will return as headline sponsor for the event for a third consecutive year. To be held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore from 4 to 6 November, the WAF is considered the world’s largest architectural celebration and conference.

Last year, AkzoNobel named Copper Orange as colour of the year and awarded its “Innovative Use of Colour on Exteriors Prize” to the orange-yellow headquarters of the Vienna University of Economics and Business' Department of Law and Central Administration.

This year’s colour prize shortlist features nine vibrant global projects that span the wide spectrum of WAF award categories. www.worldarchitecturefestival.com
