It’s not often we hear pizza making described as sexy but that’s what a new culinary project near Coín is offering foodies. Created by food photographer, chef and Home & Lifestyle Magazine collaborator Peter Staes, Pizzamos is “an invitation to get together with your friends (or make new ones) while having fun making your own pizzas”. All the pizzas are made under the watchful eye of Peter (at his idyllic mountain hideaway) and are shared by the group. “You’ll get to try many original flavour combinations of fresh locally sourced ingredients,” he says, “and you might discover that you have hidden talents as a pizzaiolo.”Peter’s interest in gastronomy covers just
about every aspect of his life, from the joy of eating, baking and cooking to creating high-level gastronomy features as a professional photographer. This passion, he says, also extends to the social aspect of sharing great food with good friends and like-minded people. Why pizza then? “Freshly baked pizza is delicious and is the perfect dish for sharing. Offering a lot of creative possibilities for different styles of toppings makes it a friend for everybody, and touching fresh homemade dough, shaping it into a pizza and baking it in a wood-fired oven is just incredibly… sexy
