That philosophy and dedication is stunningly highlighted in the La Zagaleta villa featured here. The client’s main requirements for a major refurbishment of the 20-year-old renovated property were simple: warm, homely, practical, nice colours and inviting.
UDesign used natural materials such as wood and stone, and rich, warm and earthy colour tones – and added an eastern touch to the overall style. Their plans for the work were inspired by the home’s different zones (lounge, kitchen and TV area). As they explain, “We wanted to have an open-plan feel and connect all zones together; each zone flows into the next. The terrace had to become an extension of the lounge. The whole project was completed in line with UDesign’s trademark: mixing together modern and natural materials to create an overall contemporary look and feel.
