A RISING PHOTOGRAPHIC TALENT INSPIRED BY ARCHITECTURE
CLEMENTE VERGARA
Clemente Vergara is a Barcelona-based photographer who specialises in areas of architecture and travel that are his long-standing passions. He studied environmental engineering and currently works as project man ager in a major international company for waste and water management. However, he has always been inspired by geometry and the work of famous architects such as Ricardo Bofill, Luis Barragán and Richard England – all of which encouraged him to pick up a camera. A relative newcomer to the world of photography, Vergara has quickly devel oped a keen eye and unique style portraying a story through his photos that focuses on shapes, light and shadow, colours and tones.
Vergara says he considers his work to be instinctive and sensorial, interpret ing the world in the best way he knows how – through his photography. He places great importance on minimalism in his photography, believing that raw beauty comes mainly from simplicity.
