More than 2,000 exhibiting brands took part in one of the most important design fairs in Europe, if not the world, Salone del Mobile in Milan. With participants coming from no fewer than 37 different countries, this iconic exhibition attracted a record 307,418 attendees, which was 15 per cent more than the year before – with 65 per cent of the buyers and industry profes sionals travelling from outside Italy.

China reclaimed its place as the country with the most visitors after Italy, followed by Germany, France, the United States, and Spain and Brazil tied. The next exhibition will be held in April next year.
