Retrospective of Pioneering Niki de Saint Phalle
A painter, sculptor, printmaker, performer and experimental filmmaker, Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002) was considered the first great feminist artist of the 20th century. More than 200 of her powerful and exuberant works, as well as archive documents (many of which have never been published), will remain on show at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao until 11 June, in a comprehensive and original retrospective of an artist whose multi-faceted talents created a distinctive universe and offered a pioneering global view of art.
