A TABLE SETTING TO BE PROUD OF

Dinner parties and summer soirées are as popular as ever, especially here in southern Spain where we can enjoy dining outdoors with family and friends for most of the year. Bringing people together over a meal is one of the joys of life – sharing jokes, romantic moments and deep conversations over home-cooked food. “Tablescaping” has become quite a buzzword in the design world in recent years, as the tableware market has exploded with inspiring new collections. Whether you prefer a formal setting or a more casual, rustic look, the way you style your table is just as important as the cuisine you serve. They say you eat with your eyes, so it is all part of the dining experience. Even though classic white tableware will always have a place in formal dining, mixing up colours and styles is increasingly popular, giving a more playful and relaxed look. Combining vintage with contemporary pieces or luxury with boho – anything goes – so have fun creating a table that will show off your individual style to guests.
