Following a performance of his latest stage show, Gitano, at Marbella’s Puente Romano, Spanish contemporary flamenco dancer and choreographer Joaquín Cortés headed to La Sala in Puerto Banús to relax with his dancers, musicians and entourage. The party started straight after the concert and Cortés and his friends were entertained with live sax, bongos, violin and trumpet, and a spread of La Sala signature dishes and drinks. Many of the professionals accompanying him couldn’t resist dancing sevillanas almost ‘til dawn. “La Sala is awesome!” Cortés declared as he enjoyed the after-party festivities.
More than 2,000 guests enjoyed live music, DJ sounds and dancing into the early hours when the Trocadero Group opened its new beach club in Sotogrande. Formerly the El Cucurucho Beach Club, the revamped venue includes a restaurant, beach club and children’s area, following the same aesthetic and philosophy as Trocadero Playa and Trocadero Arena in Marbella and inspired by African colonial style.
