The new Iglù collection by Masiero was launched last year and was designed by Oriano Fabaretto, who was inspired by Inuit architecture – hence the name. It is characterised by a patinated bronze sphere that diffuses LED light through a matt gold-painted mesh that appears jewel-like when the lamp is illuminated. The new Cone by Tom Dixon is a pedestal that can be combined with 28 of the designer’s shades including Melt (as shown here) and Mirror Ball.
