Inauguration in Fuengirola
An exhibition of paintings by Fuengirola-based Finnish artist Anneli Gilan will be inaugurated at the Vegetalia restaurant on 13 November, with guests invited to wine and snacks as they view her richly varied spectrum of work. Costa del Sol Decorative and Fine Arts
The Costa del Sol Decorative and Fine Arts Society is organising two lectures at the Salón Varietés Theatre in Fuengirola over the next two months: “Easter Island & the Moai” by lecturer Pauline Chakmakjian, on 10 November; and “In the Wake of Handel: the impact of Handel on 300 years of British culture” by lecturer Peter Medhurst, on 15 December. In Cahoots Group

Andalucian International Artists Group
Members of the Andalucian International Artists Group have several exhibitions on the Coast until the end of the year, including: “Hermosa Vida/Beautiful Life” by Roger and Dolores Cummiskey at the Lucía gallery-restaurant in Fuengirola (until 14 November); “Por Amor al Arte” (several artists) at the Museo Etnográfico in Riogordo (1-30 November); and “Nollag” by AIA president Roger Cummiskey at the Club Danés in Mijas-Costa (22 November-mid December). The group will also be exhibiting at The Over 50s Show at the Estepona Palacio de Ferias y Congresos (8-9 November).
