GÜEY RESTAURANT AND SKYBAR
Stylish Nueva Andalucía gastronomic venue Güey Restaurant and Skybar hosted a traditional Santa Lucia celebration on 13 December. Güey was fully booked as guests, including Marbella mayoress Ángeles Muñoz, enjoyed a traditional and tasty Swedish Julbord.
The highlight of the evening was a performance by the choir from Svenska Skolan, a Swedish school on the Costa del Sol. The restaurant dimmed its lights as the students entered, singing carols in traditional white costumes, led by a singer with a white gown, red sash and crown of candles on her head. Diners were captivated as the choir sang a selection of Swedish carols, after which the celebrations continued upstairs in the Skybar.
