CUSHION OBSESSION
The Mizumi collection by Black Edition was the result of a collab oration with Japanese artist Katsutoshi Yuasa. The collection explores time-honoured Japanese printmaking practices where traditional and contemporary techniques are combined. Katsutoshi created in tricate woodcut prints methodically crafted with small carving tools and then used a manual printing method to create his artwork. The contemporary and richly colourful collection embodies texture with opulent velvets, elegant linens and indulgent jacquard weaves.
