Home & Lifestyle Magazine joined thousands of other top industry repre sentatives at this year’s Feria Hábitat València, Spain’s premier exhibition of furniture, textiles and kitchens. Expectations were high for a pacesetting fair, and they were met right from the first day with the launch, in conjunction with the main fair, of the Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar and Espacio Cocina SICI trade fairs. tors since the 2012 edition of Hábitat. This year’s multi-faceted fair coincided with a diverse and extensive year-long calendar of events marking Valèn cia’s celebrations as World Design Capital. Sustainability was a major theme of the fair, which featured chairs and tables made from recyclable materials, acoustic ceilings comprising recycled plas tic bottles, organic and natural shapes, reusable textiles, and furniture that reinterpreted handcrafted classics of the 20th century.
