TURNING UP THE HEAT ON STYLE
The Milano Free-Standing by Tubes is a sculptural radiator designed by Antonia Astori and Nicola De Ponti. It is self-supporting and can be placed anywhere in the room, making it highly versatile within an interior de sign scheme. Designed by Piero Lissoni for Antrax IT, the Waffle radiator is an excep tional project that combines technology, energy saving and sustainability with attentive aesthetic research. The heating body is made of 100 per cent
recyclable cast aluminum comprising a selection of embossed powder coat ings that have been conceived to evoke, including by touch, the historical imagery of cast iron radiators. These are also reinterpreted by Waffle in the surface manufacturing process, which is characterised by a three-dimen sional geometric texture. Its material imprint, highlighted by superior heat output and advanced technical performance, is further enhanced by the inclusion of a handle or robe hook, in walnut and natural ash, to ensure the radiator is completely functional in the bathroom.
