The ethnic trend has become increasingly popular in bed rooms, with natural materials such as linen and cotton, recycled wood and botanicals all adding to the overall organic feel of the space – and rightly so, as nature has a calming effect on all of us. Ensuring a good night’s sleep is often down to the quality of your bed. Huge leaps in technology have transformed the standard bed into a game-chang er, with tilting bed bases and mattresses that perfectly suit your body’s indi vidual requirements achieving ergonomic superlativeness. Bed linen that allows your body to breathe will keep your body temperature at a level that aids sleeping. Avoid synthetic fibres which can make you sweat and instead always go for natural fabrics. Bright or bold prints are not easy on the eye, with white being a firm favourite for many when choosing bed linen.
