DINING IN DESIGN TRENDS

Your dining area is more than just somewhere to eat. It is where the ones you care about come together to engage in conversation over home-cooked food. Choosing the right table for the job is important, as size, shape and durability are all key factors to consider. Recently we have seen a growing trend for sculptural bases, adding more of an artistic touch to the standard four-legged table. Mixing and-matching chairs is also an increasingly popular trend around dining tables, creating a more playful look. If you have a small dining area, choosing a circular table could be the perfect solution as they save on space, while extendable tables are fabulous for giving you the ability to accommodate unexpected guests. Your dining table should be highly durable, as it can take a few knocks over the years, which is why wood is such a popular go-to when it comes to materials for tables, being both resilient and gaining character with age.
