Timeless Gallery

When was the Timeless Gallery set up in Puerto Banús and why did you choose here?

I set up the gallery last year. I have other galleries worldwide – one in Sweden and one in Poland and my mother also has other galleries. Even though I’m just 23 years old, I have a very large network and I want to bring in a good mix of artists from many different countries to suit the tastes of the discerning cosmopolitan public that live on the Costa del Sol. The people of Puerto Banús are very art-friendly and have more passion for art than in other places.

Are you planning on opening other galleries?

Yes, I’m going to open a gallery in November in Miami. In between now and the opening of my new gallery in Miami, I intend to spend most of my time here in Puerto Banús. I chose Miami because it has the same spirit as Puerto Banús. In 18 months time I also want to open a gallery in New York as it is a great reference point for art and a place where art can really grow.

How did you get into the world of art?

I was born and raised in an art gallery. My mother has owned art galleries all my life so I have always lived and breathed art. I chose to open in Puerto Banús as I felt it was a very inspiring place. People are very open to art here.

How important are sculptures to your gallery?

The sculptures are the main focus to my gallery. The exhibits are becoming more and more popular. People see it as an investment and it is also a very beautiful and tactile object. It is a great time for sculptures. For me sculptures have always been an exciting part of the art world for me.

What plans do you have for the gallery in Puerto Banús?

We are currently building a photo room which will have 40 square metres of photos and lithography. Each month we will change the exhibits. Here in Marbella, people love photo art and it is also a great reason to grow the gallery. It will be a new angle for us but we are very much looking forward to doing it.

What are your passions?

Art is my passion and I love travelling so I like to combine the two by visiting art galleries wherever I am. I love to find out about new artists around the world. I also enjoy wakeboarding and always try to tie that into my travels!

Why should people visit the Timeless Gallery?

I believe the art we choose is of a high quality. I very much want the public to enjoy the art that I choose. We hold regular soirées where the public are invited to come down and view the new monthly exhibitions. It’s always a great evening where people can enjoy the art and a glass of champagne or two!
