The biannual design fair Maison & Objet Paris was another resounding success this September, impressing the design world with latest trends in decoration. The show focused on peace and tranquillity naming itself as the “Comfort Zone” edition which highlighted feel-good products such as soft materials, colours and shapes. Tristan Auer, who renovated the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris, took over an area of the show to display his inspirational work as well as upcoming students from the French design school École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI-Les Ateliers).
