Fusion Cuisine in Madrid
Now celebrating its 14th anniversary, Madrid Fusión focused on new creative culinary paths, a return to our origins, American avant-garde and a homage to the “sweet-toothed revolution” in Spain. In all, more than 400 companies and institutions and nearly 300 restaurants took part in the gastro-festival, whose 2016 theme was “Cómete Madrid” (“roughly translated as “Eat Up Madrid”).
The annual event has become a global showpiece of sensory experiences with food, wine and other alcoholic beverages, gastronomic culture (cuisine in photography, literature, music, art, theatre and film), gourmet delicatessens, local markets and cookery schools.

La Chinata’s latest range of marmalades offers a tantalising taste of blended flavours. Comprising 55 per cent fruit in all combinations, the marmalades include orange with chocolate, strawberry with rose pepper, apricot with lime, pear with spices and apple with cinnamon.

The company has also released a facial cream including the anti-oxidant ingredient lycopene, which is said to be anti-ageing, have a beneficial effect in cancer prevention and provide protection from macular degeneration.
