Chow is one of Metro Group’s latest gastronomic hotspots to open along the frontline of Puerto Banús. This ever-growing hospitality empire, with 16 venues already under its belt, never seems to put a foot wrong when it comes to business acumen, always choosing excellent locations and investing wisely in stunning decoration and good-quality service at reasonable prices – and Chow is no exception. Located close to the famous Sinatra bar at the entrance to the marina, Chow has the privilege of looking out over some of the most exceptional boats in all of the Coast. This particular area of the port has a special buzz, whether it is during the day or at night, which makes Chow’s location such an attractive one. Consequently, it is always a safe bet that there will be a lively atmosphere. The front of the restaurant is entirely open, creating an airy feel and allowing you to take in the ambience of the street and the beauty of the harbour.
CHOW ASIAN KITCHEN
NEW CONTEMPORARY FUSION RESTAURANT IN PUERTO BANÚS
However, the restaurant also extends well back inside, so those who want to be away from the action can enjoy a more tranquil dining experience. The design of the restaurant is contemporary with a nod to traditional Asian decorative style. There is a striking painting of a Geisha girl on the far wall, upside down Japanese umbrellas serving as lampshades suspended from the ceiling, and a black and red colour palette that runs throughout the res taurant. Chow offers a diverse Asiatic menu that fuses Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. There is a comprehensive sushi selection, and an inter esting choice of starters ranging from dim sums and sticky pork ribs to soft shell crab salad, but it is highly recommended to plump for the Chow Signa ture Sharing Platter, which is a great way to sample the various tasty bite size offerings they have available on the starter menu, which were all very delicious.
