We ran a competition for a lucky reader to win a drastic makeover. Congratulations to Miguela Díaz who won the prize! Miguela Díaz Palacio has always been conscious of her looks, but until now the 41-year-old housekeeper has not had the economic means to contemplate a major makeover.
However, her life changed when she read the September-October issue of Home & Lifestyle and saw details about our special makeover competition.
She jumped at the chance to enter the competition – and is “ecstatic” to have won!
The prize, comprising free facial and dental surgery conducted by two of the most respected professionals on the Coast, is valued at nearly €40,000.
Award-winning surgeon Dr Kai Kaye from Ocean Clinic and dentist and implantologist Dr Martha Laguilavo from Dental Care Marbella are offering their professional services to Miguela to have a makeover that will transform how she looks and feels about herself.
The work carried out by Dr. Kaye and Ocean Clinic will comprise:
• Upper blepharoplasty (upper eyelid)
• Volume augmentation of the cheek bones using Miguela’s own fat
• Liposculpture of neck and jawline
• Filling the nasolabial grooves
• Correcting the nose tip
At Dental Care, Dr. Martha Laguilavo will work on:
• Upper jaw – eight implants with a bridge with 14 crowns.
• Lower jaw – five root canals with a bridge with six crowns
• Lower right side of the mouth – two implants with three crowns
• Lower left side of the mouth – two implants with three crowns
