Forty golfers took part in a Christmas Charity Golf Challenge at the Marbella Club Golf Resort in Benahavís in aid of the Rhys Daniels Trust. A total of €3,320 was raised for the trust, which provides “Home from Home” care for seriously ill children and their families when travelling to specialist children’s hospitals a long way from home for treatment.
The winning team prize went to The Mickey’s and the individual prize to Luke Wood. Kudu Bar won the team golf quiz, Paul Sollari was nearest the pin, and Brett Little hit the longest drive. (The prizes were donated by Tine from International Marbella and Mila from MP Consulting Spain.)
The trust later expressed its appreciation to Lindsey Medina and golf pro Jason Duo for their help with the event, comic Stan Boardman and Brett Little, who hosted a Christmas lunch at La
Sala following the golf, with entertainment from Joanna and Dru.
