These motorised folding shutters manufactured by Hunter Douglas have been very popular in luxury Mediterranean villas in Israel as they reduce glare from the sun and have an eye-catchingly contemporary look depicting falling leaves. The aim of the design by Isreali architect Ilan Pivko was to create a curved façade of motorised folding shutters that close at 180 degrees, concealing the runners so a clean and flat uniform surface is created when the shutters are closed. This private house in Hamburg (Germany) has been fitted with Hi-Finity windows, allowing you to enjoy the limitless view outside in all its splendour. It has an ultra-slim design of the Hi-Finity sliding system, which seamlessly melds the inside of the home with the outside space. Even though the windows are lightweight to slide, they are strong and can carry the weight of a sliding glass pane of up to 750 kilograms and fixed panels up to 1,200 kilograms.
